Squidoo is a free service that lets you make web pages, according to a pre-established template. The best thing is to check out a few of the Top 100 lenses before you make your own... to see what kinds of things people are doing there.

It seems to be best used for very specific niche information, covered in some depth. Preferably stuff that people are looking for.

Before you sign up, you'll want to have an idea of the category your topic fits in and have a brief name for your lens. For example, I have a lens on how to make keyboard symbols using the Alt Key. My lens is named keyboardsymbols, which translates to http://www.squidoo.com/keyboardsymbols.

Then you add your info into the various text boxes and link boxes. The default when you log in to your new lens gives you a bunch of stuff you don't need right away and can be deleted by clicking the little x. You can add and delete segments any time.

You can make as many lenses as you like on a variety of topics. You can earn a bit of Google Adsense income from them, too.

This sounds like a good topic to add to the forum - how to best create, manage and integrate our various network profile pages, Squidoo lenses, FaceBook, YouTube, etc.
